Why?

With 23 days left before the "24 hours of Lemons," the team is reaching the final stage of preparations. The car was almost ready for the big race and each of the members was working hard to get everything prepared.

The team is full of characters with a wide range of different perspectives on the team themselves and cars. Member of the suspension team and freshman in general engineering Titus Saugier said he joined the team at the start of the last fall semester.

"I was looking for a way to get into motorsports and car type of stuff," Saugier said. "Lemons just looked like the perfect way to get into working on cars because it's really cheap there's lots of problems and lots of stuff to learn."

Saugier said that he joined the Aggie Lemons team because it was easier to get into and more inviting than the Society of Automotive Engineers racing cars.

"They've got like formula internal combustion engine and formula electric, they build a little go-kart sized racecar from the ground up every year," Saugier said. "Lemons we just make sure our car works."

Since joining the team Saugier said he has learned that not everything is as hard as it seems but it is always gonna be harder.
